Azarm holds Doctorate and Master’s degrees in Medical Laboratory Science from Iran and is certified by the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS).

She has contributed extensively to both clinical practice and academic research, serving as a Research Assistant and Visiting Scholar in immunology and cellular molecular medicine at Ottawa-based universities, while also working as an Embryologist and Andrologist.

She later worked as a Medical Laboratory Technologist in the Clinical Immunology and Transplant Laboratory, and since 2016 has served as a Clinical Research Coordinator at St. Paul’s Hospital.
